Most folks know it as Joelton today. Settled in the early 1800’s by the Paradise Brothers, “The Ridge” quickly established itself as a place for good farming, good hunting, and good living, which resulted in some fine cooking! The original Ridge Crew, my great grandparents hailed from this humble setting. Boss, as he was known, tended the coals and sauces. Emma turned out the sides and desserts. A wide array of family and friends shared both great food and great times. While we have moved from the Ridge, it is with great pride we carry on this family tradition.
A few years back two guys from totally different cultures sat down to talk business and share ideas. They struck a deal. For the next bit they worked together and individually on blending the two styles together.
The result is our version of “The Ridge”. A traditional BBQ Joint with twist. Our BBQ products are the result of tens of thousands of miles spent on the Competition BBQ Circuit. Our Tomatillo & Chorizo, for example, go back generations in Mexico. Creating a unique and enjoyable dining experience is our goal.
